Awkward in the Wild

Waiting for the elevator on the way home, hoping to high heaven that no one catches me taking an outfit photo. Can you tell Relaxation is my middle name??

I decided to wear my 2nd ModCloth Airport Greeting cardigan as a pullover cowl-neck top today (the first pilled up and died after only a few wears... making me somewhat regret buying this one, but now what can I do except wear out the other one, right). Also wearing my custom jeans again - liking them a lot more rolled up for some reason.

In other news, Anna had got me thinking about more closely mimicking what we have on the sales floor, so today I had the Helmut Lang Sonar cardi and the Joie Dark Indigo blue jeans in mind when I got dressed.

I think I'll continue to try and find analogues like this for the rest of the month - I hope the links won't be annoying since it seems like a good way for me to keep aware of our stock and also play a little non-shopping fashion game with myself. :)

Draped hi-low cardi - Modcloth
Getwear custom jeans - getwear.com
Brahmin satchel - Nordies
Oh! Shoes booties - Amazon

I love your look too .... And your expression :)

I love this cardigan on you, too bad about the other one - did you complain to ModCloth about it? They usually give you a coupon of some sort.

Hmmm...you do look a little tense :^). But great outfit! I like the cowl neck.

Your hair is so shiny in this picture! You look fantastic and I love the idea of being inspired by the merchandise your selling.

Love this picture! I think I would buy everything you suggested to me..... :).

That picture cracks me up! You look suspicious of that plant...

The outfit is great, and I like the jeans rolled too. I should not have clicked on that HL cardigan link. The description of it says the sleeves are cut narrow, so it probably means it won't work on me, so I guess that's saving me from myself.

Rae- the cardi and jeans look so good with your b & Bs (Brahmin and booties).  Sorry I clicked that link, as the shape of the HL is really calling. With Janet in thinking it may be a good thing that the sleeves are so constricting.

Great outfit!  I love the shape and color of the cardigan.  I hope this one works out better than the first one.

Fun game, and hopefully helpful to the budget!

You look terrific. So polished and put together.

That really is One Bag to Rule Them All.

Fantastic outfit - love the cardi in particular. Maybe this one will last longer? The color and style is fab on you. And looking at your rolled jeans has me thinking about trying my TR Camerons rolled with my Doc Marten Marcies.Really like the look on you.

I can hear the nonchalant whistling coming out of my computer, looking at that pic.  Too funny!

And I'm just glad that cardi only comes in grey, otherwise I think I'd be in trouble!  Hope you can get some commission from all the people you are sending there :)

You, look awesome.  And I want that bag.

Nice outfit. Hope the cardi lasts longer than the other one.

I really love the idea of mimicking what you have on the floor and I will be watching your threads for inspiration. I think I want to "shop" your department for all my clothes. ;)
