Big Kitty Tango

Busting out he last of my Argentinian souvenirs today: this tiger/jungle print blouse. The tiger heads are upside down on the front, bit DH and I thought it still looked good and was an interesting reminder of the questionable quality control measures of the area (I saw in blogs by expats that they felt the same regarding clothing QC). I initially wanted to wear sandals, but cold and impending rain inspired a tiger-leopard tango!

Amazing how you can go to Buenos Aires and find things that look so much like you! I'm sure it would be the same wherever you went.

    Roar!!! Love it!

Awesome!  Having upside down tiger heads is a perfect memento really.

You look so good… love the Nugent booties with this.  However, in light of recent nutty comments made by Ted I think Mr. Nugent himself is getting way too much cool cred by having such a stylish boot named after him!

I find mixing prints very daunting (leave alone two different animal prints!!) So a bit maximal for me ... But you pull it off so well. Clearly tango isn't for me! :)

    Cute look!

    You look great :)

Fantastic look! I love the shirt and how the upside down pattern means folks probably have to do a double take to see that it's tigers. Then using the smaller patterned animal print again on your shoes separated by the solid dark color of your jeans really works to create a look that is a bit on the wild side without it being over the top or feeling forced. Bravo!

    Thanks, ladies!

Lol @ Denise... I never thought of him before, but you make a good point!

Jody, it actually wasn't easy bit I was determined to get my souvenirs.

Neel, I used to feel the same way, and I still don't love to mix prints right next to each other.

Great shirt - upsidedown is kind of cool!

I agree with Adelfa--it's amazing how you score such perfect stuff in all four corners of the globe. You will never look cookie-cutter, that's for sure. I love how you've combined all this. Of course, I love your reference to tango : )  As my kitty-loving tango teacher would say, Meow!

    Killer. Love the lippie.

Fun that you can wear your BF jeans to work now. Have the rules changed?

  • rae replied 10 years ago

Angie, since I changed departments, the rules are definitely in my favor. We can wear any look we sell... And we sell Current & Elliott. Hello bf jeans!

  • Thistle replied 10 years ago

Fun and a great souvenir. How fun that the rules are now in your favor at work!
