Blaze(r) of Glory: We have liftoff! Twin day with Goldenpig

It's here! My last day at the office - whee!

Natalie and I had been talking about doing a twin day for a while, and I thought it'd be pretty awesome to commemorate the transition from banking to fashion with my YLF buddy. (Natalie, I had to leave the house, so I'll add our split-screen from the other computer).

Orange blazer - Forever 21
Michael Michael Kors agate dress - 6pm
B. Makowsky bag - DIY of an Ebay purchase
Target pumps - Goodwill

Rae, you look vivid and brilliant!

Can't wait to see your twin! I love that our Demure ladylike bombshell and our tomboy UWP are having a twin moment.

I love this combination! The orange and turquoise look fab together! I love the stripes on your purse handle, too. And, wow, your last day!

Woot! I'm going to light a sparkler just for you Rae, congrats on your last day. Can't wait to see Natalie in the same outfit (no way she has that bag though, lol)! You look bright and festive, just like the promise of days ahead.

Way to go out with a bang Rae!!! You look fantastic - love the coral colour with the turquoise. Looking forward to seeing Natalie rock this too. Like Suz, I love how two ladies with differing styles can rock the same look in their own way.

Enjoy your last day and welcome to your new life!

Natalie pic added! She looks *stunning*, if I do say so myself. :)

Thank you all for your kind words and your support through all my life changes. It has been a wild year between getting married, changing jobs, and finally quitting said job to blaze a new trail. I am so grateful to have found a village/tribe like this, full of inspiration as well as encouragement!

I know, Alicat! I'm already planning to retake the pic when I get home with the blazer closed just like Rae (I forgot to confer with her on that point), and try to round up the kitty. LOL!

  • rae replied 11 years ago

    *slaps forehead*

I didn't even THINK about whether or not my jacket was closed. I will laugh for days if you manage a new pic with your kitty, though. >^..^<

Stunners, both of you. Congratulations on your new career path, Rae.

  • Beth Ann replied 11 years ago

This brightened my day! Quite literally, because the colors are bright, and also because two YLFers in different cities combined their inspiration! So cool. I don't even have orange, and I want to wear it right away!

BTW -- best wishes on your new life!

  • goldenpig replied 11 years ago

Hey Rae! Waving at my twin! How was your day today--are you pumped to finally start your new life?

I retook my pic to try to do an exact copy of your pose including twin kitties, and bonus outtakes!
