Spent more time hiking before it is time to go back to work, but got to wear street clothes out tonight! DH and I are on the way to a relaxing night walk.
Chose my trusty, ancient Lucky jeans, un-basic denim jacket, and added a nod to the sporty trend with my long hoodie. Happiness factor is very high!

I never got that kind of a great fit wearing bootcuts. Flares, maybe. This looks like a total man-magnet kind of look to me. Sporty, with jeans that fit great (especially around the rear). I bet DH loved you in this outfit.

I love this. Those last bags you picked up at the flea market are so 'friggin amazing. Do you feel some normalcy now that you are going back to work? It did help me a lot to go back to my routine, although I was super anxious at first. I hope it works the same way for you!

Thanks, everyone! I am thrilled that this gets love from you all - I will definitely wear this look again. I was also really pleased to see how the hoodie works with the jacket collar. I usually wear the jacket buttoned up, but I am digging it open over the hoodie.
For those who asked, I am not back at work quite yet. I keep knocking on wood so that I don't jinx it, but assuming the transfer goes through the way my HR person has been discussing it with me, I will be very pleased - just in time to learn the ropes before NAS, too. *crosses fingers*

Ah, Thistle, you should try it again! So relaxing... we even saw a woman hiking the beach with her baby strapped on in a Bjorn. :)
I'm just your average working stiff who loves nice things and hates to pay for them.
