Cool Blue Easy

#1 is a cheapie silk top I found at TJ Maxx with my sister. I wasn't 100% sure, but she encouraged me to get it, and I like it a lot after its test drive. Slipped on scarf in #2 for to-and-from-the-car time since it was a bit breezy out.

#3 is not my favorite outfit; I should have just worn my cropped sweater again, but I don't hate this. I wish the sweater would stay more closed over the bazooms, because I feel like it looks like they are bursting out and trying to get away. Maybe I'm just uncomfortable with bazooms. o_0

Anyway, it's been a stressful time... lots of things in limbo, which is the one thing that can make my teeth itch like no other. But I'm keeping the good thoughts and soldiering on! Trying not to forget or neglect my fashion BFFs. :)

Oh, I like #3 the best! I have a crush on those joggers for a start! love the colour and the cardi over the top gives the illusion of a raglan sleeve (in the photo, at least...)!

  • Echo replied 9 years ago

LOL over "bazooms"! But I agree that the photo makes it look like raglan sleeves, so it actually looks quite sporty, especially with the pants. And I love the top with the scarf in #2!

I never thought of it as a raglan sleeve - thank you both, I feel better about how I looked at work that day!

  • Suz replied 9 years ago

I actually love both outfits, Rae! I think the photo angle is emphasizing the "bazoom" effect much more than IRL.

I love #1.  The color is great, and it looks the shirt moves nicely.

So sorry to hear about the stress and ambiguity.  My thoughts are with you.

  • catgirl replied 9 years ago

I also thought it was a raglan look. Kind of a cool illusion.

    I hate feeling bazoomy.

I know it's about the shirt, but the shoes are so neato!

You look great on the blue top in front of that yellow wall. Striking and pretty . You also look wonderful in second outfit. I am no stranger to bazoom anxiety but don't see what you described , good thoughts to you Rae.

I thought it was a raglan sleeve, too, Rae.  And I know what you mean about bazooms.  My jackets often fall to the side, which drives me nuts.  I think yours is caused mostly by the camera angle.  #3 is actually my favorite.

Best of wishes to you, Rae, as you wait -- patiently or not -- for your changes to come!

I think your sister was right - the blue top looks great on you!

  • Adelfa replied 9 years ago

Very pretty top and very nice on you! Sorry for the stress and hope it gets better soon!

Both outfits work really well Rae, fear not.

In #3 I thought you were wearing a baseball tee, a silky kind and was loving the sporty look of the entire outfit.  Silky track pants go right with this concept.  The look is modern yet hourglass-y, which is quite refreshing considering the bazooms aren't "in" right now.

Well, they'll always be "in" among 49% of the population… ;-)

Glad your sister talked you into the silk blouse. It looks fantastic on you. I like both outfits and FWIW, I do not see bazooms trying to burst out anywhere ;-)

  • Lantana replied 9 years ago

The blue top might be a cheapie but it's a winner.
I'm another who thought #3 was a raglan top, and a fashion forward one to boot.
Both outfits look good and belie your stress levels. I'm sorry you're having a rough trot and I admire your positive attitude.

Love the new blue top, and I also thought #3 was a raglan sleeve top, which I love. I see no excess bazoomage, and trust me, I'm pretty sensitive to that myself. :-) You look great.

Pretty blue top! I also see the sweater as faux-raglan sleeves.

  • Transcona Shannon replied 9 years ago

I'm another one who thought #3 had a fantastic sporty vibe to it - no bazoom issue IMHO. Love the sporty softness of the entire outfit.

There are few things as annoying as waiting in limbo - you have my sympathies :)

You look so great in both pics!!! Love both outfits.

    Hope the stress subsides soon.

That's not raglan sleeve?! I love your outfit 3! So cool chic. Those joggers are TDF!

  • viva replied 9 years ago

I love that cheapie silk top! I never find anything at TJ Maxx - obviously I need to shop with your sister.

    Outfit#3 looks so fabulous!

  • shedev replied 9 years ago

    I like both looks.

  • Angie replied 9 years ago

I love the lines and proportions of #3, and the new top in #1 is great.

  • Aida replied 9 years ago

Sorry to hear your teeth are so itchy, hopefully things calm down and come into focus soon! Both outfits look cute, but I'm particularly fond of the second (escaping bazooms or otherwise ;) ). I also see a raglan sleeve effect, and it lends a nice sporty vibe to play along with the slouchy pants. Great new silk top, too!

  • Kiwichik replied 9 years ago

I like both outfits and not really noticing the bazoom break out.

  • Thistle replied 9 years ago

The blue silk top is lovely. Glad your sister talked you into it. I think you look fab in #3. Sporty and fun. I saw no bazooms issue, so I had to go back and look. If it noticeable only when I was looking for it, and I do wonder if the camera angle is not part of the culprit!

  • cciele replied 9 years ago

I also thought #3 was a raglan sleeve top, and was wondering where I could get one :) Love how you've styled with the pants pushed up. And glad you kept the top on #1 -- looking good!
