Drank the Okal-aid + A Bigger Flower Bomb

I got so sick of looking for a classic black pump that I gave up and bought the fan favorite. The arch isn't high enough for it to be a complete 8-hour shoe for me, but these are really going to make a lot of outfits click, and they will be fine for normal days that don't require a lot of running - they are already better than my pointy Earthies pumps in that they don't cut into my heels and make me bleed!

Also, did I ever post a pic with this Theory blazer? If not, here it is in all its post-sunset glory. Worn to work, then to HOA interview. 

In other news, here is the Lulu Floral bomber jacket in a size up. I definitely like this size better than the 6. Do you think it's adding something my wardrobe needs? Should I be focusing on adding more dressy elements instead?

    Oh funny, I'm looking for a classic black pump (that's not boring). Just sent a pair back. I too wondered if I should capitulate and buy the Okalas.  Love the outfit with the blazer and the floral looks great!

    The Okalas look terrific, Rae! I also like the jacket in this size. I don't know the answer to your question -- this jacket looks like it would transition well, but if you can't wear it to work then maybe something that you could wear to work would be better?

    Love the Okalas on you! I think they are a great modern alternative to a classic black pump.

    The bomber, it's nice to see you in a bright floral. I also like the larger size better. But only you know how well it will fit in your wardrobe. Do you feel compelled to wear it now and make different outfits with it?

    ETA: Totally forgot to comment on the white blazer -- I love this on you! Glad you prevailed :)

    Gorgeous! I really love the upsized bomber. It is gorgeous on you. The white blazer is divine too. Glad to know I'm a lemming in good company!

    The shoes look great with the Theory outfit. That whole look is pretty amazing.
    The larger size is a much better fit in the bomber and it looks really good on you. Why don't you keep it for a couple of weeks and see if you reach for it.

    All of these look great. Okalas, too. I will put a word in for Rebecca Minkoff Brie black pumps and Loeffler Randall Tamsin, both of which are higher price point, but a slightly more traditional pump with lower heel and an up to date look.

    I just returned my nude Okalas because they aren't a great wardrobe fit, but if I didn't have black pumps I would probably get teh black ones. They look fantastic on you. Love them with teh white Theory jacket - such a strong graphic look.

    I really love the floral bomber. I don't know how much you will wear it but I really love it.

    You really know how to make a blazer look unstuffy and modern. The Oakalas look like a great solution and will probably become even more comfortable with wear. I love the floral jacket on you but you know best what you need.

    The shoes are great on you. Too bad you will not be able to wear them all day. The jacket will be goo for work and play. Very versatile.

    I LOVE the black/white crispness of the Theory & Okalas!  Inspiring!  The floral jackets is a fun piece in a great color....if it wasn't expensive, it might be a piece to have just for fun!

    I'm being pulled by the Okala's too, but I think the heel is too high for me, and my need for a "dressy" shoe is minimal.  But they look so terrific....

    (And you rock them - way to go!)

    The blazer and shoes are great and I imagine you will get lots of wear from those (provided the shoes are comfortable enough). The bomber is so far from my comfort zone that I must defer to others. I do know that you love jackets so you may get plenty of use from it on non-work days.

    I love that jacket on you.  I'm not sure how it will work into your wardrobe but it looks relatively dressy to me.

    Love the white blazer and Okalas Outfit and the floral bomber is fab! I'm tempted by the idea of one too.

    Oooh the floral bomber looks perfect in this size! Does it make you smile? I think it's a great wildcard piece, and doubly or triply so if it makes you smile :) Also LOVE that white blazer on you, soooo perfect.

    (I have been resisting the Okal-aid but still can't find a banded pump that works for me and am getting closer to biting on these as well...)

    Thank you, everyone! I was leaning toward returning until I saw how great the reactions are. I think I may be able to wear it more often thanks to the Okalas, actually, so now I am warming up to it again. Hm... maybe I will take it out to visit my dad!

    Go for it.  I'm about to post a floral item I am returning, because it just feels too sugary, but in a bomber it's different.
