Heart of (mostly) Darkness

Yahoo, home before dark! Barely.

I had planned to wear my Miista galaxy shoes, but my feet were very tender and the insoles didn't sit right. So then I was going to wear my Crocs, but I didn't like the look for my appointment. So then I peered inside my Reports to see if an insole might fit and found that I'd worn a hole into the bottom (again, did this on a previous pair) and had basically been walking on the hard shoe base for who knows how long. Put in an extra cushy insole and got on with it.

It's been a tiring week... counting down until Tuesday.

Rae I would love to see a better photo of the wrap. This looks wonderful on you:)

I'm struggling with lack of light, too. Your wrap top looks really nice!

Your wrap looks amazing, and I love how your bag is the beacon of light in the photo.

Love the Zella wrap! I do the same thing to my insoles - wear a hole through at the ball of foot. That's actually also how I end up destroying many pairs of shoes for good - I have worn holes from the inside down. On thin soles I've actually worn them through to the ground.

The wrap is gorgeous as are you!

Rae, I have that A&O one, but I got it at the consignment store for $40.  It's nice, but I'm sure yours is just as nice.

Hey "Precious" - I see you - but I can hardly see anything else!  Bummer!  When you get a chance Rae, take a pic of you wearing that Zella wrap in the daylight, ok?  I am so curious how you are styling it!  Love the snake necklace!  Tha'ts crazy about your Reports!  I mean, that's a LOT walking, turning, twisting, etc.!  I feel for you feet!  I'm assuming that you are working through Monday?  Hope you're enjoying it - even though I bet you're beat!

Love you in the Zella wrap!  Stunning look on you.  And I'm a fan of snake jewelry myself.

I adore that sweater. I think you've perfectly set it off with the black basics and elevated it with the purse. LOVE!

I like that sort of top. I have one in *circus stripe*. I admit I have trouble getting into it. It's configurable.

Deborah and Marley, here are the original pics I posted when I first got it. I think I found a couple more ways to wrap it since then, after Una linked a very helpful video. One of these days I'll find the original thread.

Diana, that tears it - I just ordered your EF booties... after learning your ankle size and ball of foot walking type, I could not stand it any longer. I only found a half size bigger than usual, but some of the reviews said to size up. *fingers crossed* At least they were 20% off with free return shipping...

Okay, couldn't help brightening you up a little!

I swear, Rachel, you are hitting it out of the park each and every day!  This is just streamlined and super fab!

  • Mochi replied 10 years ago

So dramatic, and you've styled it just right by keeping everything else pared down to the most basic silhouette. Gorgeous.

Really lovely -- hope the new booties work out!

    Top is a hit!
