Japanese Bomber Boyfriend

It has been 1 day since my last purchase. :)

I have a day off from work today, but it was exceedingly hard to peel my tush off the computer chair (actually an inflatable work out ball) and complete my errands. I didn't get moving until after noon, but I feel much better now, having made a bunch of returns, shipped my Ebay sales off to their new owners, and picked up a couple odd things I've been ignoring... like, er... water.

Took some good advice from a previous thread and tried moving my indoor shot next to the window. I don't have any great place to put a tripod, but at least this is neither over nor under exposed and I still have a chin. Plus: bonus "plush sculpture" sighting!

I am not generally a fan of bomber jacket styling, because the banded hems always seem to ride up on me, meaning it is pretty much impossible to wear them zipped up. But since this one is very sentimental for me (bought it when DH took me to Japan for my graduation from college), I keep it in my car to throw on whenever I need a little something.

Love the plush sculpture! Big fun!

Streamlined and chic again today. Love the Bo,her as much for the sentimentality as the look as both are so lovely.

The jacket is worth more outings!  Right on trend Rae.

I really like how it's styled, but definitely want to see more of this bomber.

All I need is a baggy t-shirt (all of mine are form fitting) and I can replicate this look with my new NAS finds.  And I'm struggling with how to style my new bomber jacket so this was very helpful, thanks!  Cute plush kitty!

Wow Rae, this is a stellar outfit.  I love the bomber jacket.  I think this needs to be worn than just a throw on in the car :)  This is a very nice silhouette on you and those sandals are so cool.

Great outfit, Rae! You need to save the bomber from exile in the car!
I love the sandals, too. Do you find those high wedges comfortable for doing errands?

  • AJ replied 10 years ago

Rae, the bomber is FAB with the bf jeans! Your hair is looking extra FAB too!

  • kellygirl replied 10 years ago

Great outfit! I love your hair right now too. It's growing out so nicely!  Thanks for replying to my question re: the Original fits. I see what you mean. You saved me from ordering yet again!

  • amiable replied 10 years ago

Love it too!  Looks great with the jeans!

Fab outfit! Casual gone classy with those sandals and the bag. Yet still very down to earth with the boyfriend jeans and bomber. Don't you love it when the latest .'it' piece has been in your closet for eons?

  • jayne replied 10 years ago

That is a great outfit.  Love the metallic sandals with the serious material of the jacket!

  • lyn* replied 10 years ago

I love these neutrals; and your mirror buddy!

  • Sveta replied 10 years ago

it is a fun look, Rae! This bomber looks like it may be a bit snug and it may be a reason it rides up but it looks great open like in the picture.

  • Sara L. replied 10 years ago

The bomber looks great on you here and I love your silver sandals.

  • rae replied 10 years ago

Thanks, ladies, I will try to wear this jacket now while it is so in style and it is warm out. I'll just leave it open. :)

Sveta, the jacket is not snug at all. It's very roomy in all parts, even the banded hem is not tight on me. It is the same with camis that are too long on me... things just tend to ride up my hips and want to settle at my natural waist. I think somewhere along the line we decided it was because of a high hip curve?

  • Karie replied 10 years ago

I like the jacket! I prefer to wear that type of jacket open, as they tend to ride up on me too.

  • deb replied 10 years ago

I like the bomber on you and your hair look so cute.

Nice casual style. Loved your story of the way you spent your day. Very recognizable.
