Jersey-Knit Girl

Found this skirt for $4 at the flea market, and it turned out to be great for my tall boot capsule. It was a sample and the lining kept showing, but some creative work with safety pins saved the day. Paired with an ancient cardigan I found at a Goodwill in NYC years ago. Foundation garment is a cheapir F21 olive cami.

Gold necklace - BP via Una
Banana Republic cardi - Goodwill
Cami - $2 via F21
Nordstrom Collection skirt - $4 at flea market
Gidigio boots - ebay
Brahmin bag - Nordies

Can a person be both chic, sexy, and economical in the same outfit?  Rae, you have showed us how.  Great outfit.

    cute.

Is the skirt pretty stretchy? I like the asymmetrical hem of it - and be careful not to poke yourself with the helpful pins!

:) You look great, like usual, Rae!

Looking good! I need another shorter skirt and plan some looks like this!

This sweater was actually great until the last customer of the day, when I had to run up and down the stairs for a large box. But I will still wear it again!

Lyn, yes, it is stretchy, but not tight, so it's good to move in. Thicker than the Vince Camuto tube skirts.

Ciet, I would love to see you in a shorter skirt and boots!

Comfy, stompy cool! Love how the stripes on the polished bag echo the buckles on the tough boots, yet their juxtaposition is so unexpected.

What a find! I like how you have styled the skirt.

I love this outfit. The drape on the cardi is so compelling. Of course I want the bag for myself. The skirt is a great length and looks so cute with the boots!

Love the softness of the knit and the draping balanced with the tough boots and modern classic purse.
