meow mix

happy holiday to the US contingent! I am working, but at least I can take my cats with me. I hope some of you can have a burger and a cool beer in my stead!

    LOVE!!!!

I wore my own Meow mix the other day -- kitty and leopard.

I'm wondering if it would look better with a half tuck.

I love the kitty shirt on you, and it goes so well with your pin. Fun, playful and yet with the traditional button down, still work ready.

    Terrific pattern mixing!

    Thanks, everyone!

Suz, I LOVE your meow mix! I need to fix my leopard bag so I can copy!

Anna, thanks for the idea; I never think to tuck with these jersey skirts. How does it look?

I love your bowling pose in #1!  You are wonderful Rae, dressing in a skirt and silk top and pattern mixing.  Thank you for inspiring us with this fresh outfit concept!

I like it styled both ways, tucked and semi tucked.  The only problem I have with semi tucking is that it's quite hard to maintain the right semi tuck for any length of time.  You can get it just so for a picture or the mirror but mine move around a lot, because I move around a lot.  Then I catch my reflexion later and look like a dork.  So this is my latest thinking on the semi tuck, although perhaps I am being too hard on myself at the moment (see below comment).

(I worked too, 9 hours on my feet... I have Tuesday off though.)

I adore this look. If there's a way to be an understated dresscode punk, this may be it. Something about the shirt strikes me as Japanese, who knows why. It's all offbeat and delightful.

I soooo want your shirt and brooch :)

    Both looks work IMO.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the mix of kitties and stripes - fabulous! Like Denise, I like the blouse both untucked and tucked. Just go with what is most comfortable and works best while working.
