Red Dead Redemption?

I have been waffling on whether or not to keep this red Hollister jacket around. On the one hand, I still like that it is unlined cotton, the utility feel of it, and the washed red color.

On the other hand, I had not worn it since last summer, I have gotten rid of a lot of red stuff, and I'm starting to wonder if it looks too young for me (Hollister is the younger version of Abercrombie... yes, there is a younger version of Abercrombie).

Should I keep this or try to resell it?

I like how you've styled it in #1 but I think it looks quite a bit more gearish that you usually wear for non-gear occasions. The color is very nice on you but still I'd consider selling it, esp. in light of your fab jacket collection.

I like it in #1 also but if it's feeling too young (which I'm assuming by your comment) you may not be happy wearing it again.

I think you have outgrown it, Rae. I don't like how the pockets hit at your waist also.

I am really not feeling it meshing with the more streamlined style I have seen in your WiWs lately. Even your casual outfits look more sophisticated than this jacket.

I do still like the outfit as posted, but I could see you much more in a mustard or olive jacket. Something about the red feels jarring to be, but could just be me!

IMHO, I would try to sell it.

It is a nice jacket but I agree you have outgrown it. The colour on my screen is orange-red whcih might be adding to the super casual vibe. I think given that you not longer wear it, you could try and sell it putting the funds to an item you love.

Follow your gut...if it's not getting worn, it's time to go!  It is so easy to say that to others, why can't I follow my own advice?

PS Totally unrelated to the post, but I LOVE your hair shorter!  It frames your face so beautifully and really tops of your UWP style.  Your long locks were gorgeous, but you really wear your shorter hair well!

I really like it!  My only hesitation would be if you don't have enough occasions to wear it.  I am constantly tempted by gearish jackets like this but I hold back because my lifestyle is more dressy.

I like it. My question is, does it feel too short?

I don't think it looks too young, is a great color on you and is still a great piece for super casual wear. But if you haven't worn it in so long, there must be a reason. If you don't think you're going to wear it, then move on.

I'm feeling a little ambivalent about it. I think it's the color combined with the gearishness somehow.

You have such great style and everything looks good on you Rae so it's hard to dislike anything.  So, to be extra picky here's my opinion.  I like it but it  looks a little short/cropped to me.  So it's like a 7, not a 10.  The gearish aspect doesn't bother me, nor the fact that it's from Hollister.  It doesn't read as super teen to me.
