Sci-Fi Steampunk Scarf Challenge

First time testing out the self-timer on my phone instead of hauling my camera around all day. I obviously need to adjust my technique, but it was pretty convenient and cut down on purse clutter.

Finally got around to joining one of this week's YLF challenges - wore this tissue-weight silver scarf my mom gave me for Christmas with my steampunk jacket, silver python bag, and new Vic Matie boots. This outfit went out for lunch with an old co-worker and good friend, then to see Dr. Shrink, who I more grateful for each and every session.

    Great look, Rae, love the silver with the brown, and so glad that jacket has gotten an airing, it's too great to languish in your closet!

    Oooh I love it Rae! You don't wear scarves much but this light gauzy style really works well for you IMO. We are almost twins today btw, just swap the top/pants for an eggplant sheath. /highfive to brown leathers :D Also, I looove that jacket. It is Awesome.

    EDIT: Earthy colors but not earthy outfit, in action :)

    I brought my silver scarf along today too! Though I never donned it. Glad to hear the shrink is a welcome appt. each week. Love the look!

    NO surprise to me that she turns heads. Love the use of the same color on top and bottom and the fun surprise element of the scarf. I should totally copy her, but then I would have to go shopping....dang

    I never would have thought browns and silver together but oh my gosh - it's great.

    Thought of you at Target yesterday where I spotted a "galaxy" printed scarf. Remembered your love for all things galax-ed :)

    I like the silver and brown -- feels fun and unexpected! Fit on everything is superb (a lesson I am trying to learn...).

    I love this colour combination! It feels so sophisticated. The jacket looks sensational on you, too.

    How do you get your phone to stand up to take the pic? Do you have a little stand? I am still struggling with the darn tripod I got for xmas. Should be easy, right? Huh...not so much for me.
