Slouchy Camo Pants

Ugh. Worst photo ever, and it doesn't even show the awesome baggy-to-tapered fit of the pants! But I'm determined to start posting WIWs again, so here it is.

Found these pants on sale at Allsaints while 'trolling the Santa Monica Promenade with Denise. They are 3 sizes up, but were meant to be skin tight, so I tried them anyway. I really like how the seat and thighs are baggy, yet the calves are super snug and easy to tuck into boots. I wanted to wear my long black hoodie today, but I couldn't find it in my closet. *shame*

Worn out for sushi with DH.

Abound pullover - Nordstrom Rack
Men's belt - flea market
Spy sunglasses - Ebay
Allsaints camo pants - Allsaints
Ted Baker bag - flea market
Rockport Anna Motor boots - Ebay
Saturno tiger necklace - Italy

Like my therapist would tell me, you must fake normal until you feel normal. I am happy to see you back with your outfit posts. Good for you!!!!!

I like camo stuff, a lot, I have just never been able to pull it off. I mean, can you imagine me on camo pants? lol.

    Love the outfit!

    This looks so Rae! Love

I love the way you are wearing these with the belt , boots and the sweater. I have an aversion to camo prints, but not a total poison eye, so I can say you look fab!

LOVE THESE!!! Nice to see you posting Rae - hope you're doing ok :)

I love these on you! The fit was great, I thought.

If you pull out your hoodie, I think they would work great with a high heeled shoe / shoetie, I don't think the pants are too short. The contrast of the heel with the hoodie would look cool! And dress up the look a bit.

I think it's a good look, and I look forward to seeing these in better circumstances. You were made for slouchy camo.

Zap, that is so true! I think it was an old coach who would say, "fake it 'till you make it!" I could see some camo pants on you, but they'd probably be silk and polished. :)

Denise, now I really need to find that hoodie! Before it gets too hot. I wore these pants yesterday with my cobalt blazer and the DIY bronze calfhair booties.

I really like these, Rae! I wish my blue moto trousers were still sold because that is how I would buy them now, slouchy/baggy in seat and thigh but still sleek on the calf.

Camo! How fab --- and timely, given Angie's post. This is very UWP, but very relaxed and approachable.

  • MNsara replied 11 years ago

These are fabulous on you! I love the way they fit - a little baggy in the seat and slim in the calves. They just look like you ;-) I hope you feel at home in them too ;-)

    You look fantastic, Rae!

I love those camo pants! They don't look 3 sizes up! They look like they fit - must have run VERY small. Perfect :)

(Did you see and comment on the controversial camo blog post last week? It was an interesting read).

    you look rockin!

  • rae replied 11 years ago

Angie, I thought I commented! I didn't read everything, though. I know there are some strong political aversions to wearing camo!

  • Tina.b replied 11 years ago

I think the fit of the pants is perfect on you! Love them with the bag and boots. So stylish yet casual. :)

Some girls are made to wear slouchy camo--and you are one of them! Perfect for your UWP vibe. :)

  • Hil replied 11 years ago
