Tokyo Sniff

Worn into Little Tokyo Westside to pick up a purse atomizer and some garlicky ramen! All familiar workhorses here, and pretty much my signature casual look for this S/S: BF jeans, booties, trench, satchel, and a simple top.

New atomizer is filled with newly-Ebayed Dolce & Gabbana The One, which I have wanted since November and finally got a great deal on.

BDG tee - Urban Outfitters
TR Cameron jeans - Amazon
Men's belt - flea market
Report Marks booties - Amazon
Sealup trench - Yoox
B.Makowsky shimmer satchel - Ebay

très chic, très cool!  Super S/S signature look!!

(Trench coat in southern CA in July? Not hot there right now?)

Very chic and cool, I agree! Classic euro style at its best!

It's about 64F outside right now. Not really hot or cold, but it's a very lightweight trench. 100% viscose. Kind of like a nylon windbreaker weight.

I love this look a whole lot.  But I'm laughing because it's similar temps here and we are all panting in tank tops and shorts! :)

I wear things like this myself a lot as well, in the spring.  But with average July temps around 95, no way.  I can only look longingly at the booties, boyfriend jeans and the trench!

Oh, I love this whole look! Very Parisian! You look great in trench coats!

Oh I LOVE this. Even for you it's epic. Favoriting. Hope the ramen was great. No good ramen in Boston. :( or maybe calorie -wise :)

You look so fab in your casual outfits, Rae!
    Love it!

One of my favorite outfits of yours ever. Simple, chic, mixing classics and a little RATE.

I love it! You and Cameron and Report and the bomb.

Very nice outfit! I cannot even get my head around needing a trench between the months of June and September here, so I'm kind of jealous.

Super fab. Isn't ebay great for fragrances?

  • citygirldc replied 10 years ago

<sigh> I miss wearing jackets, and coats and leather, but somehow at 92 degrees I don't think it would quite work. I love this outfit on you plus I'm a sucker for black and white stripes.

Looks good. I would never buy fragrances from ebay. I read an article how a lot of them are fake and what they put in the fakes, you do not want on your skin.

  • ElleH replied 10 years ago

You look really fab & I would need a topper at that temp too.

Great outfit Rae! I'd love to be able to wear a trench right now (like, you have no idea) so I'll have to enjoy looking at your pictures. And now you smell as good as you look! :)

Thanks, everyone! Who knew I had a Parisian streak? This is pretty much how I want to dress come Fall, too.

Thanks for the article, Anna! Wow, the chemicals in fakes sound really nasty... I still feel okay buying on Ebay, though, if the seller has really great feedback and doesn't look shady.
