  HOLY CRAP Rae - you look AMAZEBALLS in pics #1-3. That ombre full skirt with a simple black sweater and boots is just WOW. I gotta go lay down now...

  Thanks, ladies! The sweater is actually charcoal gray, hope that does not change the favorable opinions. And the boots are my burgundy Timberlands. Shannon, your post makes me smile!

  My coworker mistook my boots for Frye today, which was kind of fun. The Timberlands were amazingly comfy! Lots of shock absorption in the sole, and also lots of support. I hope my tall cognac ones are as comfy come Fall.

  WOW.  I love the ombre full skirt on you, Rae.  I think your sassy short cut also adds a punch of personality to outfits like this - more emphasis on the "urban" and less "princess", if that makes sense.

  I think this outfit works with your new short hair better than it would've before. Have you noticed certain proportions are more appealing with new vs. old haircut? I had that experience when I went a lot shorter last year.

  Both versions are fab! I like the long sweater over the full skirt a lot, FUN proportions (especially with the semi-tonal burgundy boots).
