DH and I were thrilled to meet up with YLF's own Cocolion (Denise) for a cool stroll through a local arboretum today! Strangely, we did not stop at all for any real outfit shots. This one with DH is the only one that really shows what I'm wearing.

My new trench is still at the tailor's shop getting the sleeves slimmed and epaulets installed, so I'm wearing my old, non-breathable Norma Kamali trench. I wore a thin cotton layer underneath to try and mitigate the steam factor, but I was still a little glad that DH slowed down for us girls and I didn't work up too much body heat. I did enjoy my Zella tote, which I used for the first time today. It was fun to have a really lightweight, nylon bag that I did not have to worry about in the event of rain.

    I feel sad there are no pictures of cocolion and you together for me to oogle. Otherwise, DH and you are a cute couple, at least he isn't photo shy. Pretty sky, it's so grey up here in nor cal.

    Oh I am so happy to see flowers. I can't wait until spring here! You look lovely but you don't match your husband in terms of climate. But I think I remember you posting that he pretty much wears cargo shorts year-round?

    I am looking forward to seeing your new trench!

    Kalli, it seems we were far too busy gabbing to take photos - Denise is so fun and easy to talk to!

    Ceit and Dianthus, yes... cargo shorts all year, and sometimes the same pair for days on end. Shhh, you didn't hear that from me... >_>

    Aw, such great pics! My DH and I often look like this - me in one season, him in another. Same with sleeping - all the covers piled on my side of the bed. :) That trench is such a good fit. I'm busting out the Burberry today... Are there any pix of you and Denise? :)

    Also, I did not know that Zella made bags! I like yours a lot... off to see if they make a messenger version. (Have been thinking lately that I'd like to get another black nylon slouchy messenger - I had several prada lookalikes over the years and have been missing it lately)

    Diana, they have a few different styles, some in pretty colors. This one has a messenger strap as well; that is how I wore it with the trench yesterday. :) They have lots of handy dandy pockets, too.

    Yeah, Rachy, I'm considering just ripping out the lining. DH mentioned yesterday that he likes the looks of it, too. I have no idea how that would affect the coat, though.
