WIW Backlog: Wine w/Woodsy Notes, Army Noir, & Galactic Conductor

Nothing too fancy here; just adding to the log! 

1 - Woodgrain print silk top - $1 at flea market
   - Airport Greeting cardi - Modcloth
   - Free People ruched mini - Nordies
   - Brahmin Vivian Vineyard satchel - Nordies
   - Born pumps - Nordies
   - Madewell cat necklace - Madewell

2/3 - BCBGeneration army jacket (Yep, I removed the lining, and it is mine! The weight and drape are still 100% to my liking though, as Claire predicted, I will need to bring it in to have some raw seams taped). 
   - Michael Stars tank - $1 at flea market
   - Men's belt - flea market
   - Rolled destroyed shorts - $1 at flea market
   - Worishofer sandals... ? And yes, I'm still wearing those crumbly things.

4 - This outfit reminded me a little of a symphony conductor, with his white shirt and tails. :)
   - Cutaway blazer - Modcloth
   - Hi-lo top - local shop
   - Gap denim leggings - Ebay
   - Miista oxfords - YLF Godmothers <3 <3 <3

    Love the moody, drapy, dark thing going on in #1. This feels very noir to me.

    And the whole photo in #3 is straight out of A movie. Love the shopping cart!

    Diana - yay! hope this means I am getting closer to my aspirational style. 

    Suz and Ceit - It was a risk, and I had to hold my breath cutting into the lining, but this time it paid off!

    Lantana - I go to the flea market way less these days but, when I do, I get stuff that works a lot harder for me. I feel like I used to get big bags of stuff that I would purge too quickly. 

    Joy - that is so sweet! I often feel too anxious and dorky to be cool, but at least I can take a cool pic sometimes. :)

    I like the shorts with the army jacket a lot on you. The other outfits are nice and noir too, but on some of the pictures it is hard to tell. Even the photos are noir hahaha.

    Great outfits!  I think #2 is perfect summer fun.  I like your take on #3 too, and the outfit looks really nice.

    I too am a thrifter and I too tend to bring home too much stuff. I absolutely love the army jacket. I know what you mean about being scary cutting into something - but if it doesn't work what have you lost if you weren't going to wear it the other way?
