WIW: Una's Joan Jett Jeans!

A quick post-and-run, but I had to share: I am honored to have recently inherited these low-rise black skinny jeans, which you may remember having seen on another certain UWP. With a 7-inch rise, faded black wash, studded front yoke, and slanted belt loops, I am *quite* in love with them. I hemmed and hawed over a very similar pair in Italy, but passed because someone had done a poor DIY hem job on them... these are way better!

Worn here with a little geek chic to tone down the rock n' roll awesomeness. :D

Utility jacket - Hollister
Batman Tee - inherited from Hubs
Fergie Major boots - Overstock clearance
Brown Belt - $3 via swap meet
London Fog bag - gift via Marshall's

Now those are jeans for a rock n roll chick! Like how you went double down on the vibe with the boots too.

Love the jeans, and love the outfit. The colour of the jacket is beautiful on you as well.
How are you feeling today, Rae (I only just know read that you were in an accident)?

    You rock

Casual looks like these give me another glimpse of who you are Rae. You look so happy here. Cool jeans and I love the way you rolled/cuffed them! Where did you get them?

*sigh* Some people are just born cool. You, my friend, are one of them. I can't imagine a more fabulous outfit on you! Now get on with your bad self!

  • rae replied 11 years ago

Heh heh, thank you - I think I needed to feel a little badaxx and invincible after Friday! I just now had the thought that my red jacket is kind of like a bright red superhero cape. :)

I'm smiling at all the comments that said this really looks like "me." Yes! Looking back today, I am extra proud of the rolled-jeans-with-boots thing - stumpiphobic me would not have tried this last year.

Totally Rock and Roll. You are a ROCKSTAR!!!!

  • catgirl replied 11 years ago

I knew these would be perfect on you! Love them rolled and worn like this. Please get lots of use out of them!

  • cciele replied 11 years ago

Casual with Rae 'tude -- gotta love it! Those jeans are awesome on you.

  • Elly replied 11 years ago

Love the jeans on you and I will guiltily admit I like them rolled up. I'd actually love to see them with a little less blatantly casual UWP get up--- I think that would bring the zipper detailing out more.

  • Jonesy replied 11 years ago

You look fab! Agreeing with everyone else: This is a rocking look for you! Yay Una!

  • Aida replied 11 years ago

So cute! You know I love all of your casual looks, this is no exception. I'm digging the boots with the rolled hems.
