WIW: Welcome to the Jungle + Shift 7, Crocs super molded flat

Who needs a bombshell when you've got a panther and a python on your side? Worn very briefly as I went out to search for my Rimmel London Lasting Finish lipstick. Went to 3 different CVS stores but finally nabbed it for buy-one-get-one-half-off.

Next is what I wore to work - you've seen my work shirt enough by now, so I only posted the pic with the jacket over the top. This is how I looked when I went out to get some chicken for lunch.

#1
Panther tee - F21
Lime snake skirt - flea market
Turquoise crossbody - YLF swap party
Frye Vera boots - Amazon
Broken watch - flea market

#2
Zella moto - Nordstrom
Gap 1969 jeggings - Gap
Crocs super molded flats - Crocs
Shift length - 7 hours
Pain-o-meter - almost none! These will definitely be my "long shift" shoes!

Those are the cutest Crocs ever. Omigosh! Love outfit #1. Nice and streetwise.

Outfit one is so fun! Isn't it fabulous when you find shoes that can last all day?

I love look one--- what is the secret to wearing boxy tees like that? I'm visiting my alma mater and walked out of the gear shop without a tee because the female shaped ones don't fit me in the biggest size, but I seem to look bad in the men's versions.

    HUGGABLE!

That's what you are in these outfits :)

So glad that the new shoes are keeping those cute feet happy.

Yay for foot comfort! Drink water. Avoid salt and MSG.

Yay for feet that don't hurt! And it's true that not sitting is so much better for your overall health :)

You look super cute in both! I am so glad you found shoes that are kind to your feet!

    Thank you, everyone!

Elly, for me they work best when they are really soft and drapey - but not tissue thin or clingy at all. This one has a woven polyester front, and I also wear old tees from DH that have just been worn in for decades. I try to wear them with a half tuck so that the back drapes down for a hi-lo effect.

You're rocking your new lifestyle, Rae. I love those Crocs. I'm going to put them on my wishlist to use as house shoes--much better than the original Crocs I sometimes resort to wearing when doing mega on my feet stuff like lots of cooking or cleaning.

So glad your tootsies feel better! So thanks to you, I put the purple and the iridescent blue Crocs in my Zappos Favorites list in case I get the urge to buy flats, esp. ones I don't want ruined in the rain. Dunno if they would cut over my bunions or not, however.

  • bj1111 replied 11 years ago

    love the croc...love outfit two.

    hows the rimmel lippie working?

  • rae replied 11 years ago

BJ, the Rimmel is awesome! I've been wearing it all day lately, with just a bit of chapstick on the top to refresh at night. So far, no drying or flaking/clumping. I'm excited to try out the brighter color I picked up, too.
