Smoke on the Water, Fire in my Belly

Not the best photo, but I have been super tired and sleeping in way too much to catch an outfit shot before work. :(

Once again, comfort was the name of the game today - seems like I always reach for this dress when I wish I could rest at home in my jammies. I keep thinking that work is going to slow down now that NAS is over, but I run around just as much - so very glad I decided to keep these boots! Even my Lucky sandals and Report booties have been killing me lately.

Fab! I reach for anything knit that doesn't require shaving my legs when I'm in a PJ mood. 5 stars to you!

You know I always love that dress, and it looks great with the new Modcloth cardi.  Hope things calm down at work soon.

Many of my fallback dresses - like the B44 tiered dress - are favorites because they feel like pajamas but make me look put together.

That being said, no one would ever know that from how wonderfully the agate dress works with your style, particularly how you've styled it here.  The boots and jacket are amazing!

Glad that your footwear is helping you keep pace with the busy retail season, and hope that you reach a calmer point soon.

You look gorgeous as ever in that dress!  I'm glad to hear the new boots are keeping your feet comfy. (At least you are pretty light on your feet--my dogs are barking at the weight they have to schlep around!)

Great post title! I always love that dress on you, of course. I'm going to have to copy you with my dress and knit moto. Those boots and cardi look fab on you! Hope things quiet down soon!

I tend to wear dresses too when I'm looking for comfort.  They have less pieces to fiddle with and constrictions.  You look great and I like the boots with the blue dress.

The dress is such a lovely moody beautiful blue green. You look lovely! I especially love the sweater over it. You do unstructured structure so well.
