Running out the door, but here's what I plan to wear for 4th festivities at our place today!
These are my first white shorts, chosen for the heavier denim and orange stitching.
Also, these are not the bronze python boat shoes I originally ordered (way too shiny!), but I found these pewter ones at the swap meet - I was afraid to show DH, but he looooooves them! Woohoo!

We are pewter boat shoe twins! Perfect outfit for the 4th. Nary an Old Navy flag tee in sight lol (I don't mind them just that I see them everywhere!). Those longer white shorts are really fantastic on you.

Cute outfit! Those boat shoes are a fab casual shoe, I can see you getting plenty of wear out of those. I know your weekend looks don't skew preppy very often, but I bet you could do something fun with baggy denim short shorts, the boat shoes, and a wee bit of prep on top.
