Beaded, baggy, big kitty (inspired by Anna)

Anna's Green & Black outfit totally inspired me to pull out my F21 big kitty tee (which the designer manager complimented as being "very Givenchy" - yay)! I really wanted to do a leather jacket like Anna did, but the print of my shirt is very easily obscured. I tried about a billion different permutations, but I ultimately settled on the flared skirt to add a touch of dressiness to the sporty cut of the tee as well as a bit of edge because of the volume-on-volume nature of the combo.

I also really, really wanted to wear these beaded Enzo sandals, which my customer initially spotted in pink (I nabbed those, too). They are jellies with just enough of a heel for me to get the effect of flats without the arch pain and tripped-up gait. These sure aren't UWP shoes, but I seriously love the sheer ridiculousness of them. I plan to wear these as pump alternatives to dress up BF jeans as well.

I don't really count my bag as part of the outfit, because it just happens to be The Bag I've Not Yet Packed and I only carried it to and from my car. However, pic #2 shows my bag and bracelets. :)

Fun! I wish I had a big kitty tee to wear with my silver skirt. And I know you said the bag is just random but I seriously love the cat-tongue matchy matchy going on here.

This outfit is so unexpectedly pretty! Love the combination of the kitty top with the pretty skirt and sandals!

I want a kitty top too!

That Panther tee was a find! I love how its expression changes depending on how you stand. Your outfit is pretty and fierce at the same time.

    Aw wow! I'm humbled.
I ADORE your outfit! (wait, can you shout adore?).

  • Aubergine replied 9 years ago

Awesome! And I completely would've thought the bag was on purpose. Because how often can you match two different close-up kitty faces in one outfit?

Double mrow! From the thumbs I was expecting BB shorts then was surprised to read skirt. Works really well and somehow feels almost as sporty!? FUN sandals, the pink is jelly-pearly goodness. Happy to see you posting a bit more often again :D Hope the packing becomes unpacking soon.

    Those sandals are fabulous!

LOVE!  And the skirt reads a little like baggy shorts.

I was there for kitty purchase, yes?  We were on a ROLL - didn't we close down F21?

So fun, Rae! I also thought from the thumbnail that you were wearing BB shorts. Luv the skirt with the kitty top. The sandals are great. Nicely styled!

Love the double cats! even if unintentional;  and I love the juxtaposition of the flirty short white skirt with... white panther teeth.  I mean talk about opposites.

    Also caviar bow sandals!

Here kitty kitty! I adore the matchy matchy cats! And best jellies ever. Love the whole outfit!

What a fun outfit and I really like that you paired with a skirt here, it gives an unexpected vibe because shorts would be so typical with a casual print t, but the skirt dresses it up just a tad, which is really fun.

What a great outfit! Love the skirt like crazy paired with your kitty duds.

So fun!  Love the Givenchy inspired effect.

And the sandals are very cool. You'll have to let us know the comfort factor!

double kitty tongue - my favorite!!!  wwwrrrrraaaahhhhh!!!

I love how this looks like one of those 'oh, just tossed it on as i flew out the door' absolutely killer fab outfits but it actually took quite a bit of 'tryings ons'. It takes effort to look effortless! Volume over volume is a love of mine, wonderfully done and extra bonus great gams :) Yay rae!!  steph

You look chic and lighthearted in this, Rae.  The modern silhouette and ladylike vibe keep it grown up.
