Blaze(r) of Glory: Day 2

MaryK very wisely advised me go to out in a Blaze(r) of Glory on yesterday's post about my last full week at the office (last day is Aug. 15).

I'm clearly NOT wearing a blazer, but I am wearing one of my very favorite office outfits from this year. This faux leather Bebe jacket just *gets* me. I had to wear a different skirt than last time, because the original tragically perished in a torn slit accident, but this one is stretchy and comfy.

Also shown is my last for-me purchase until YLF Octoberfest! It's the Anthro Given then Gathered dress in blue that I posted earlier. The petites were all sold out, so I tried another XS, and the rouching lays just better enough on this one that I can live with the saddlebags (which should improve with my reinstated workouts, anyway). Not a K/R - I love it with my boots, and even DH likes it!

    Great jacket! The dress is lovely and I don't see "saddlebags." I am very self conscious of mine, but you definitely don't have them in this dress.

    I love that white leather jacket on you--so perfect! I wear leather jackets as blazers too. Love the kitty ring. And that Anthro blue dress is another winner on you! Love it with the belt. We'll have to plan a twin day!

    I am so sensitive about the saddlebag area, too. I guess we are all our own worst critics when it comes to those things.

    You look GORGEOUS in both of these outfits Rae! That white jacket is definitely "you" and I suspect it will be worn until it's positively raggedy! And the blue dress is just sublime - no saddlebags do I see!

    Love them both! You are KILLING IT with the white jacket. And the dress is divine on you!

    BTW, I got that drop-waist dress you tried and it was exactly the opposite on me: too tight and unflattering on top, perfect on the bottom. Not even bothering with a picture, but funny how it didn't work for either of us.

    JulieJohn, Oktoberfest is what we've started calling our planned SoCal YLF meetup for the Fall. We made it a weekend-long event last year and have high hopes for a repeat every October - hence, Oktoberfest!

    Claire, AJ, Aida, and Una all visited from out of state last time, so if you want to join us... :)
