Sending up a flare

Ended up tucking the blouse, but this is the idea!

Worn for second interview for a special company program (cross your fingers for me?) and to work. I am enjoying feeling like I have a waist!

Skirt was $5 at H&M, so no big deal if I hate it later.
Vest - $1 at flea market
Equipment blouse - Nordies
Neclace - Mom's
Frye boots - Dillard's
Kate Spade satchel - Ebay

Fun look!  I must remember to try a copycat once it is warm enough here.  I have similar pieces for everything except the bag, I think.

Such a cool outfit!!  Best of luck to you!!  If style and flare is the deciding factor that should make you a shoe in !!  Fingers crossed for you!

Fingers crossed for you. I love the blue over the printed shirt and the juicy yellow bag. Good luck!

Fun look! Can you share more about the job or is is super top secret spy stuff?

Look at you!  I thought you meant the cute handbag was the "flare" at first.  Knock 'em into submission and charm them as only you can.

Yes, I'd love to hear the details when you can share them.

I like this as a look. But somehow I just don't see this as you. Unless you are shifting. It seems very quirky.
    Hope interview went well.

Best wishes, Rae!  You look fresh and modern.  Love the ways the boots ground the look.

Thanks, everyone! the interview was for our management prep program... Would get to take classes to basically qualify me to manage someday. Didn't want to jinx, but now that the interview is over I feel ok. :)

Anna, you know me well. I had wanted to be a little conservative, and it turned quirky on me. I wouldn't wear this again but I got a lot of compliments.

Great boots; they remind me of some of John Fluevog's styles, which are more familiar to me than Frye.
