Bring that blouse out of hiding Rae - it's fab on you! and I love it with baggy britches. Love the pairing of that bag with the belt.

(I wanted to do baggy britches today too but WAY too hot here today and in my office to wear pants)

Those aren't BAGGY, sheez! As always, looking good!

Love it!! That's a great blouse and those boots are too fab for words!

Hey ya, BB! I love this. This looks SO Rae to me. I haven't been around lately but it looks as if your rubric has gotten some fine tuning. Whatever it is, you are looking mighty fine!

  • Angie replied 11 years ago

These are my favourite jeans on you - and the white skinnies too. So fab:)

    Thumbs up

    Thanks, all!

Shannon, I envy the warmth that can extend into your office. And while I would have liked to see your boyfriend jeans and blazer combo in action, I cannot feel disappointed with your orange outfit. BBs next time!

Kelly, good insight. I have also felt that the rubric has been becoming more internalized and that I have to think about it less.

Angie, I do really want to duplicate these in white; just waiting for them to pop up on Ebay. I guess I should have added those to the wishlist post!

love these trousers! did not get a chance to post the last time you wore baggy
trousers but you rock this look and have just the correct amount of slouch!

  • ManidipaM replied 11 years ago

Tiger and turquoise stripes! Such a winning combination for the slouchy pants, it's amazing! Very individualistic look.

  • Deborah replied 11 years ago

Rae this would be one of my favourite outfits on you! The shirt is fab and the color is wonderful on you, and those jeans are such a cool cut. You look amazing.

  • catgirl replied 11 years ago

Really nice! I like these - for some reason they remind me of Angie's jodhpurs, even though I know they aren't.

  • Jonesy replied 11 years ago

This is a fun look! Love those jeans on you!

Wonderful shirt on you! I never find anything that nice at the thrift stores! Also the jeans fit great and of course I love your boots and purse!

Oooch! I LOVE that shirt! I don't think I've ever seen it on you, so YAY for SYC! The jeans are really cool, love the subtle western touches in the outfit. Makes me want to saddle up!

You look super cute here Rae!

  • Beth Ann replied 11 years ago

Hello, Rae! This silhouette is so fresh to my eye, a little looser, a little scrunch. Mannish, but rather girly at the same time (girly-man?) Love the blue stripes and the heftier belt. I'd love to try this myself, although I'm not sure how it'll work on someone with, um, hips. The fit reminds me a little of the 501s that I wore in high school. Did yo size up to get this fit?

  • rae replied 11 years ago

I'm surprised (yet pleased) that these jeans get so much love - here I thought I was being a rebel! lol

Beth Ann, yes, these are my usual fit of skinnies sized up. They are a slightly thicker denim, which I think helps them to not look too sack like - and bless you for implying my hips are small... they have been growing steadily! Anyway, I think the slouch is more in the leg and waistband fit; if you use a style that usually fits well it should be fine. That's my theory, anyway. :)

  • Angie replied 11 years ago

Good idea! Did you have to have the waistband adjusted to fit, Rae?

  • rae replied 11 years ago

Angie, I did not feel a need to do any alterations I wanted them to hang a little lower to get that saggy/slouchy crotch look and was lucky enough that they do not gap this way. This is the same strategy I employ for my baggy shorts.
